How to add two-factor codes to Pond

When a website shows a QR code for two-factor authentication, open Pond's verification codes, tap Add a code and scan it. Then type the six digits Pond shows to finish.

iOS 26 or later · 2 minutes

  1. Turn on two-factor on the website

    In the account's security settings, choose to use an authenticator app. The site shows a QR code and a setup key.

  2. Open verification codes

    On Pond's Vault tab, tap ••• and choose Verification codes.

  3. Scan it

    Tap Add a code and scan the QR code. On the same phone as the website? Copy the setup key and paste it instead.

  4. Confirm on the website

    Type the six digits Pond shows into the website. The code changes every 30 seconds.

Keep a way back in

Save the website's backup codes too, for example as a note in Keys, in case you ever lose your phone.

Imported logins

Logins brought over from another app bring their codes with them.

Questions

What if I lose my iPhone?

Use the backup codes the website gave you, or restore Pond from your backup file on a new iPhone.

Do codes fill in by themselves?

Yes. With AutoFill on, and Pond chosen under Set Up Verification Codes Using, the code is offered right after the password.
